How to play without putting anyone on the spot

Gather at least three friends. Read one question, count “three, two, one,” and point together. The person with the most votes may share a story; they do not owe the room an explanation. A tie is fine, and pointing to yourself is allowed.

Say this before starting: “You can pass on any prompt or story. We’re laughing with each other.” Skip anything that stops feeling friendly. Do not turn votes into drinking penalties, dares, or a running score of who gets picked most.

An eight-question round you can use tonight

Read questions 2, 14, 25, 33, 47, 54, 69, and 80 in that order: easy opener, a few specific situations, one imaginary twist, and a kind finish. Stop sooner if a story takes over the room. The other questions are a menu for another evening, not homework.

For new acquaintances, begin with the imaginary group and let people guess. For close friends, mix in ordinary habits. Avoid rewriting a prompt around money, relationships, bodies, or private information about a particular guest.
